As explicated in its Statutes, the St André International Center for Ethics and Integrity seeks “to organize international educational and scholarly activities in the area of ethics and thereby advance individual and institutional integrity.” All subdomains of ethics, whether medical ethics or ethics of new technologies, business ethics or public health ethics, are within the the Center scope.
However, consistent with its strategic plan and in-house expertise, the Center has a more limited number of focus areas. These may be short time, as when we work on a specific consultative report requested by a third party, for example. Or they may have a greater degree of permanence, in which they are organized as “institutes” within the Center.
The Center currently houses the following institutes:
- St André International Institute for Catholic Bioethics
- St. André International Institute for Dental Ethics
